GGIS believes that school uniforms promote a single standard of dress.

How to order GGIS uniform
Uniform List 2024
This standard enables school environments to become less competitive and more focused on learning. The uniform helps to build a sense of community within the school and create an atmosphere of belonging. This essence of unity can positively affect a child’s attitude toward school and can lead to better learning and improved attendance.

Last year’s uniforms can be worn this year if necessary for as long as they last. Size samples for uniform pieces are available for your review at the high school reception.

The solution

Uniform for Upper School Ladies

Tie: The uniform tie is optional for ladies
Skirt: Gray, pleated, uniform skirt; Please select from the vendor a skirt that is knee-length.
Cardigan: Navy 100% cotton with logo

IMPORTANT about shoes: Please see the upper school shoe guide. School shoes are to be closed-toe, all black shoes. No other color is allowed, and no colorful adornments may be present on the shoes (i.e. no colorful patches, colorful tags, colorful stripes, metal studs). In order to accommodate different foot types and health requirements, we are allowing nearly any all-black, fully enclosed shoe to be worn. This means that students can wear dress shoes, sneakers, and other casual shoes that are completely black in color, and enclose the whole foot. Boots higher than the ankle, such as hiking, urban, or rain boots, and shoes with open backs or toes are not allowed.
